Virtus.pro, Team SoloMid, LGB eSports and Gamers2 have all booked places in Copenhagen Games' Upper semi-final stage. As expected, the majority of the quarter-final matches were decided on just two maps, with the encounter between Gamers2 and Team Property being the only one requiring a third map. Virtus.pro eased past CPLAY 16-4 on de_cache before picking up a narrow 16-13 win on de_overpass, while Team SoloMid secured back-to-back 16-6 wins on de_nuke and de_mirage over Danish rivals dignitas.
Copenhagen Wolves, who are fielding Michael "Friis" Jørgensen and Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer as stand-ins, were unable to follow up on yesterday's surprising victory against 3DMAX as they were downed by LGB eSports, who came out on top by 16-5 and 16-9 scorelines on de_overpass and de_mirage, respectively. Gamers2 got off to a great start in the series against Property and took a 1-0 lead after cruising to a 16-6 win on de_overpass. The Swedish team then responded in convincing fashion and levelled the series with a 16-9 triumph on de_cache, but Paweł "innocent" Mocek's map picked up a 16-10 win on de_nuke. Below you can find the match-ups for the Upper Bracket semi-finals, scheduled to start at 13:30 :
